Paul Getty Museum, Farhang Foundation &amp; UCLA\u2019s Herb Alpert School of Music. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Persia After Hours&#8221; was a special performance series at the Getty Villa in Los Angeles that highlighted the best of contemporary Iranian artists working to highlight Iran&#8217;s rich history &amp; culture in a modern context. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This performances was the first ever music performance held at the Getty Villa&#8217;s iconic outdoor theater, so taking inspiration from the exhibition, Azam &amp; Loga curated a very special, intimate performance for the Getty Villa which featured a collective of extraordinary musicians as well as immersive visuals projected on the fa\u00e7ade of the Villa Museum. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The song &#8220;ALLAH MAZARE&#8221; is an old folkrolic song from the from the beautiful Khorassan province of Iran where some of the most beautiful music of Iran hails from. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Azam Ali- Voice <br>Loga Ramin Torkian- Kamaan <br>Sinan Cem Eroglu- Kaval<br>Kopuz Misaq Eshaghi- Kamancheh<br>Javad- Butah- Tabla<br>Tara Pandeya- Dancer<br>Jerome Delapierre- Animation <br>Jesse Gilbert- Visual Artist<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jesse created live visuals for Azam Ali and Loga Ramin Torkian&#8216;s ensemble at the Getty Villa for \u201cPersia After Hours\u201d on May 14, 2022.
