Project Description:
Song Again is an introspective journey through integrated layers of original poetry, music, and video imagery. Rooted in our current reality of isolation, Song Again is a hopeful refrain that aches for a return to the daily patterns that connect us; interaction and the melodies of life. The creative process—filled with the delights of collaboration and surprise—provided a virtual salve for the loss of intimate connection with friends, family, and our community-at-large. Through the making of Song Again, we celebrate the vibrancy, culture, and creativity within us, and within our beloved city.
