Jesse’s popular and scholarly writings have appeared in a variety of publications, from Broadcast, Rolling Stone and Time Magazine to The International Journal of Communication. His book The Secret Life of Data, coauthored with Aram Sinnreich, was published by MIT Press in 2024, and won the Nancy Baym Award from the Association of Internet Researchers.
He is currently under contract for his second book, also coauthored with Sinnreich, with the working title “Data Kindness.”
