Jesse will be presenting his work at the Universidade do Porto, Faculdade de Belas Artes on Friday, February 24th at the invitation of Professor Maile Colbert.
As he prepares to travel to Paris to perform with Wadada Leo Smith‘s Organic at the Sons d’Hiver Festival, Jesse has posted eight new video captures of live projections for Organic’s recent concert at the Jazz em Agosto Festival in Lisbon in August, 2011.
Jesse will be creating live visuals for Wadada Leo Smith‘s Organic at the Centre Culturel Georges-Pompidou in Paris, as part of the Sons d’hiver Festival, Feburary 14, 2012.
Jesse will be performing live visuals as part of Roulette‘s two day celebration of Wadada Leo Smith‘s 70th birthday, in New York City on Friday, December 16th, 2011.
Jesse will be touring Japan with Motoko Honda from Nov 16th – Dec 4th, 2011. They will be presenting their collaborative work in lectures at Chukyo University, Tokyo Zokei University and the University of Tokyo, and in performances with numerous Japanese artists. Details of the tour below.
Jesse will be performing with Motoko Honda at The Stone in New York City on November 8th, 2011 as part of Jeff Gauthier’s CryptoNights series.
Jesse will create live visuals with Carole Kim for the World Premiere of Ten Freedom Summers, a suite of major works by Wadada Leo Smith performed by Smith’s Golden Quartet and Southwest Chamber Music at RedCat in Los Angeles, October 28-30, 2011.
Jesse will be performing live visuals in Carole Kim‘s SCAN project at the AxS Art & Science Festival 2011, October 6th & 7th at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. Admission is free, reservations required.
Jesse will be performing with Motoko Honda at the opening reception of the SUPPORT: Artists Unite for Japan exhibition, Saturday September 17th at Royal/T in Culver City, presented by Art from the Ashes.
